The evening will also feature a special collection of vintage travel bars and unique barware from The Happy Traveler. Each Happy Traveler vintage travel bar is curated to create and share a specific cocktail or drinking experience (be it spirit-free or spirit-forward). Each case includes all the bottles, bar tools, and glassware needed. Almost all items are vintage or second-hand and have a rich history over their lifetime. Kro Bar is proud to present an amazing dinner and cocktail pop-up, featuring the exceptional work of Local Mixologist, Joe Dietrich!
Joe Dietrich is a nationally recognized bartender and consultant with over two decades of experience spanning live music venues, neighborhood bars, fine dining, and award-winning cocktail lounges. After early years immersed in high-energy spaces and community-centered service, he made his mark at iPic Theaters and John Howie Steak, where he became a Certified Sommelier and Specialist of Spirits. At Civility and Unrest, Joe helped lead the bar to national recognition, earning accolades such as Best Bar in Bellevue (2019), Best Bartender on the Eastside (2022), and a Rising Star nomination. He went on to serve as Director of Cocktail Culture for the Space Needle and Chihuly Garden and Glass, where his leadership redefined the guest experience. Today, Joe runs his own consulting company, BAR.sol, advising top restaurants across the Northwest, and is preparing to launch a mobile beverage catering service in late summer 2025.
